BOOKINGS PRIVACY POLICY

To finalize your booking, you will need to confirm your choices by email. A tour consultant from our end should then contact you to discuss the details of your chosen tour package. Once everything has been finalized you’ll be sent a detailed copy of your itinerary for confirmation. If you wish to proceed you will need to confirm this with the company and pay the necessary, deposit.

AMENDMENT REQUESTS

Itinerary changes should be requested as early as possible. If your chosen tour has been paid for in full, or if a voucher has been issued, no administrative fees will be charged. This does not apply to tickets for air travel since airlines have their own policies in place. All changes are subject to availability.

PAYMENT POLICY

Bookings only become binding once the required deposit has been received. We are offering a low down payment of just 25% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to seven days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour leader experience, therefore, your booking will be a risk-free investment.

Payment link:

In simple terms, a payment gateway is a network through which customers transfer funds. Payment gateways are very similar to the point-of-sale terminals used at most brick and mortar stores. When using a payment gateway, you will be receiving a payment link to your email/WhatsApp once you click it you will have to fill in the requested form. Low transaction fees and effortless method.

Monthly Installments

Customers are now also able to pay for tour packages in monthly installments. Deposits can be paid in six installments over a six-month period. The balance of the total price is then payable on arrival in OMAN. Customers can also pay the full cost in installments prior to arrival.

Child Policy

  • Children between 00.00 till 05.99 travel free.
  • First Child from between the age 06:00 till 11:99 travel free.
  • Second Child between the age are charged 50% of the quoted price.
  • Children twelve or older are charged the full adult rate.

NOTE: The above rates are based on tour packages that don’t include any flights. Airlines might charge a supplementary fee for children.

CANCELLATION

In order to cancel a reservation, a written request must be sent as soon as possible by WhatsApp or email. In the case of cancellations, the following charges will apply:

  • From the date of booking until 21 days before your arrival date, is free of charge.
  • Between 21 and 14 days before your arrival date 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Between 14 and 07 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Between 7 and 48 hours before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Within 48 hours before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

Cancellation for Christmas, New Year and Easter Vacations

  • From the date of booking until 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Between 30 and 21 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Between 21 and 14 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Below 14 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

NOTE: There are cancellation charges on ALL flights in Oman. If a tour that includes one or more flights is cancelled at any time after flight tickets have been booked, the customer is liable for fees charged by the airline company. Both domestic and international flights are subject to the airlines terms and conditions at the time of the booking.

Force Majeure

Ideal Destinations Travel & Tours packages offers a very flexible cancellation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and/or your destination. In the event of this happening, we will be refunding you the amount paid for the tour package or in some cases your payment will be available as future travel credit and travel voucher that can be used towards any of the destinations we operate tours in. You have the flexibility to apply this amount towards new travel services booked within 12 months. Reservations will be adjusted to reflect these travel credits automatically. Only the change/cancellation fees will be applied for flights according to the airline’s terms and conditions and bank surcharges applied on the deposit amount paid.

Refunds

By default, refunds are made using the same method a customer used for payments. No refunds are made in the event of a no-show.

ACCOMMODATION

Unless otherwise stated, quoted prices are based on two people sharing (Twin Room). Rooms for single occupancy are available at a supplementary rate. While every effort will be made to book customers into the hotels quoted in the tours, the company reserves the right to use other hotels of a similar quality if there are issues concerning availability. All quoted tour prices include room tariffs at time of printing and are subject to change without notice.

FLIGHTS

Quoted tour prices include average flight prices at time of printing, and may change without notice. Requests for changing flight bookings or times may have an impact on the price of a tour package. While we can assist with booking international flights to and from Oman, we strongly recommend that customers book their own tickets in their home country. If, however you want us to book your flight to Oman, you will be required to send full payment for the flight via bank transfer or payment link at time of booking.

LIABILITY

We act only as a travel agent. We cannot accept liability for any injury, illness, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity to either person or property resulting from:

Weather; acts of God; acts of government or other authorities; wars; civil disturbances; labor disputes; riots; theft; mechanical breakdowns; quarantines or acts of default; delays; cancellations or changes made by any hotel; carrier or restaurant.

COMPLAINTS

If you have any complaints while in Oman, kindly inform your designated tour experience leader immediately or contact the company directly. In most instances problems can be solved quickly and amicably.

ACCEPTANCE AND AGREEMENT

Once you have paid your deposit and it has been accepted by the company, the tour booking is then considered to be a legally binding contract, and it signals that the customer has read and accepted the Terms of Service listed above. Both the company and the customer are obligated to honor the agreement.

PRIVACY POLICY

The Website Policies and Terms & Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore, the Customers’ are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.

We may also share your information in the following circumstances:

  • In response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases we reserve the right to raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
  • When we believe it is appropriate to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities; to protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of our company or this website, our customers, or others; and in connection with our Terms of Service and other agreements.
  • Other than as set out above, you will be notified when personal information about you will be shared with third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to have us share such information. Ideal Destinations Travel & Tours take your privacy and confidentiality very seriously. In no circumstances, other than those outlined above, will any of your personal information be shared with other entities or third-parties.

While no website is completely secure, we have implemented the best measures available to us in order to protect the sensitive information that you provide us with administrative, electronic, and physical security measures. Only those employees that are managing your account will have access to your personal information and only when they are performing business functions where this information is necessary. We have employed Security software to encrypt your information while transmitting your personal information within our system and to other necessary users of that information. This software also employs firewalls and intrusion detection systems to prevent any breakdowns in the security of this site or access to your information by unauthorized persons.
