Itinerary
Upon your arrival at Muscat Airport, our company representative will be waiting for you just outside the arrival hall. They will assist with luggage collection and escort you to the coach for your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, you can relax and unwind from your journey, preparing for the exciting experiences that await you on the second day in Muscat. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
At 09:00 Am after your breakfast, you will be picked up to experience a day in Muscat, Oman's vibrant capital, where tradition meets modernity. Nestled between the Gulf of Oman and the Al Hajar Mountains, the city offers a perfect blend of cultural heritage and contemporary energy. Highlights include:
- Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque: One of the Middle East’s most stunning mosques.
- National Museum of Oman: Explore its 14 galleries showcasing Oman’s rich history and culture.
- Bait Al Zubair: A private museum preserving traditional Omani crafts and heritage.
- Royal Opera House: A masterpiece of contemporary Omani architecture, offering a world-class cultural experience.
- Muttrah Souq: A bustling market with a historic charm.
- Al Alam Palace: The royal residence surrounded by 16th-century forts, offering stunning photo opportunities.
- End the day with a relaxing sunset cruise along the coast, enjoying stunning views of Muscat's skyline as the sun sets over the Gulf of Oman. A delicious lunch will be provided during the tour. Afterward, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Muscat.
After breakfast will pack our luggage, check out from Muscat hotel, we’ll drive along the scenic coastal highway to Ash’ Sharqiyah Governorate. Our first stop is Bimah Sinkhole, or ‘Hawaiyat Najm’ (The Falling Star), where you can enjoy a swim in the clear, turquoise water of this natural limestone crater, believed by locals to have been created by a meteorite. Next, we’ll explore Wadi Tiwi, a lush valley filled with farms and plantations. Guests can stroll through the greenery and admire the unique contrast of vegetation in the middle of a desert landscape. At Wadi Shab, we will hike through a narrow canyon, discovering crystal-clear pools and a hidden waterfall inside a cave, a perfect spot for a refreshing swim and a peaceful retreat in nature. We’ll then head to the coastal city of Sur, once a vital port for sailors, where we’ll check in at Sama Ras Al Jinz hotel. In the evening, we will enjoy a special visit to the Ras al Jinz turtle reserve, where they’ll have the rare opportunity to observe nesting turtles up close (photography is not permitted). High season is between July and October, but turtles can be seen year-round. Stay 1 night in Sur with dinner serviced.
